Stag and Doe Digital Program

Avril has been involved in theatre since childhood and holds a degree in theatre. After graduating, she built a career as a lighting technician before shifting paths to study public health and begin a new career outside the arts. Last year she returned to the stage in Brigadoon with Garden City Productions, and she’s thrilled to now step into her first production at Firehall. She is grateful to this talented cast and crew for welcoming her back to the spotlight.

With her previous show at Firehall Theatre being in 2017, Olivia is thrilled to return in Stag and Doe! She is in her final year of undergrad at the University of Waterloo, completing her Bachelor’s of Environmental Studies. Having recently wrapped up her secondary major in Music Performance, Olivia spent a month this summer in Germany being coached in acting and voice, performing pieces from various musicals and classical works. During her years in university, she was a choir soloist, a student intern conductor, and performed in a Balinese gamelan ensemble!

Adam writes songs, rides bikes, and plants trees. This is his first time being a part of a Firehall Theatre production. Over the past two years, Adam has been taking risks and trying to expand his acting vocabulary. Working with Peninsula Players in Grimsby, Adam played Harry Roat in Wait Until Dark, Simon Bright in The Game’s Afoot (Holmes for the Holidays), and Bobby Grayson in Exit Laughing. Now playing Brad McKellar in Stag and Doe, Adam is proud to play a Canadian role in a Canadian play. Thank you for coming to see our show and supporting Firehall Theatre.

Chantara is delighted to return to the Firehall stage for this hilarious and heartfelt production! Her past theatre credits include: RENT, In the Wings, West Side Story in Concert, Legally Blonde, Spamalot, and Godspell. When not on stage, she can be found spending time with her husband, Scott, and their wonderful children, Leona and Clark. She is deeply grateful to them for their love, support, and encouragement, which make it possible for her to keep pursuing her passion for theatre.

Spencer is excited to be a part of Stag and Doe with Firehall Theatre - his first appearance on the Firehall stage. When not on stage, Spencer spends his time exercising and hanging out with friends and family. It’s been a pleasure to work with the Firehall team and our wonderful cast. Enjoy the show!

Samuel is excited to take to the Firehall Theatre stage for the third time in Stag and Doe. After last season’s The Woman In Black and The Drowsy Chaperone, Samuel simply couldn’t stay away. With previous credits including Yellow Door Theatre’s The Little Prince and Garden City Productions’ RENT, Samuel has very much found a home within the community of community theatre. When not on stage, Samuel enjoys keeping his creative side sharp by playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
